Who I am

Pepa Mech from Brno :)

I've spent most of my life in e-commerce, but I've never programmed. I've always been close to technology.

I co-founded Sportega. I've sold most of my stake, kept a minority share and moved from CEO to an advisory role. I'm a partner at eRockets, a member of Garage Angels and an adviser to the Committee of Good Will. I invest.

How I got into AI

Not through the technology, but through work. At Sportega and when evaluating investment opportunities, I deal with things where there's too much data, too little time, and the answer has to be usable right away. That's exactly the situation where Claude Code pays off.

The more than eighty finished things I've built this way are also the only qualification I have for this. I gained my experience through:

  • training and courses from the best — Jindra Fáborský, Patrik Zandl, Tomáš Kapler
  • following the world's leading newsletters on AI
  • implementing the AI strategy at Sportega: training people, building tools, data analytics
  • solutions within the eRockets investment group, for example for Grizly and Vuch
  • consulting at the software company Uniportál

Why this site

Everything on these pages I learned because I needed it and tried it.

That's why it's written for people who are where I was — they tried AI in a chat, and it didn't feel like a tool you could actually work with.
